Vegas wedding?? I live in Southern California and was wondering if anybody out there decided to have a Las Vegas wedding instead of planning a huge affair close to home. If so, were you disappointed that all your guests couldn't come?
Can I have Bridesmaids in a Vegas wedding? I am getting married in Las Vegas next year and would love to have bridesmaids in my wedding. I am expecting no more than 50 people to show, and etiquette says to have only 1 bridesmaid per 50 people...I want 4 (if I have 1, I have to have the other 3). Is it inappropriate to have that many bridesmaids? And what about groomsmen?
Where is a good place for a Vegas wedding reception? I'm getting married in Vegas this July. We are having roughly 20 people fly in and join us for the ceremony. We would like to have a small reception or a place to have private dinning following the wedding. I would like to spend 500-1000. We are a lively crowd and love live music. The ideal setting would be live music, great food, and a few drinks. It doesnt have to be privte as much as just a room designated for us within the restaurant. ANY IDEAS?

Should i have a Vegas wedding or do the traditional thing? I'm due to get married next year and really can't decide how to do it. My partner would really love to go abroad say to Vegas and do it and spend the money on a fab honeymoon which does sound more and more appealing everyday...but my mum dearly would love me to have the traditional white wedding. Don't want to upset anyone and really can't decide what would be best. Any ideas?!
Who here is planning a fun Vegas wedding as opposed to an expensive lavish one? My boyfriend and I have decided that huge, expensive weddings are overrated. I think we should invest more time and effort into the marriage itself rather than some ridiculous wedding. So we've decided to take a trip to Vegas, party it up, and get married cheaply. After all, it shouldn't matter what kind of wedding we have, as long as we love eachother! Who else thinks Vegas or some other fast, easy way is the only way?????
Should I wear a formal wedding dress for my Vegas wedding? I thought about wearing something more casual because we are going to a club afterwards with friends. Has anyone ever seen someone in a wedding gown at the club in Vegas? I know this would be crazy if it were anywhere else but I have seen women in gowns at blackjack tables so I'm not sure?!?!?
What are your recommendations for a Las Vegas wedding reception? I live on Long Island but I would like to have a wedding ceremony and reception in one of the hotels on the Strip. I have received information from various hotels, But it is a little overwhelming. Does anyone have first hand experience...We would have over 100 people and I would like to have a cocktail hour followed by buffet or seated dinner, open bar for four or five hours and I would like to keep the per person fee to under $250...Any suggestions?
What do I wear as a guest to a Las Vegas wedding? The wedding is at a chapel then reception/party at Mandalay Bay hotel. Ceremony begins at 7pm. I don't know whether to wear a long blue silk halterneck dress with flat jewelled sandals OR a short black dress with beading down the front and short sleeves with high black heels. Please help!!
Las Vegas Wedding: What are some classy places to hold a wedding? My fiancé and I are looking to marry in Las Vegas next summer. Do any of you have any suggestions for a hotel/casino that is classy, but not overly stuffy? I want something that is going to be elegant, but I don't want a museum quality to my wedding! It's just going to be my fiance, my cousin, his best friend, and I and they're all pretty outgoing people. I want it to still have class and charm, but I don't want it to feel too rigid! Any ideas? I don't want to spend a fortune either ;)
Las Vegas wedding chapel with dress and tux rentals? My fiance and I are going to Vegas next month to get married. We would like to rent our dress and tux while we are there and would like to find a chapel who includes the dress and tux in their wedding package. I have found two so far...sweethearts weddings and cupids weddings. Do you know of any others?

Can Canadians get quickie wedding in Vegas? Does anyone have info about whether it's legal for Canadians to get married in Las Vegas? Would we have to get a license or anything ahead of time? In a few months we're going down for 2 nights and we thought it would be fun to get hitched in one of those cute/tacky little wedding chapels. Any info would be appreciated!
Who do I ask to come to our Las Vegas wedding? My fiancee and I have decided to kind of elope to Las Vegas (we live in Ohio) rather than have a huge hassle of a wedding. But now I am not sure who we should include in the invitations. I know our parents and siblings are in, as well as a couple of close friends. We would like to offer help in paying for plane tickets and hotel rooms, but we can't afford a whole lot. Should we just stick with immediate family and very close friends, or should we branch out into other family? And what do you tell the people who are not invited? Just wait until it's over then send an invite for a local reception?
should you wear a wedding gown in las vegas chapel? My soon to be mother-in-law questioned me about buying a formal wedding gown that she said that I should have boutgh a simple wedding dress instead of a gown since its only a civil wedding in las vegas chapel. chapel or church is there any attire to be follow? Where is a cheap destination to have a wedding besides vegas? I have alot of family issues and would probably rather have our wedding away somewhere (plus my fiance doesn't want to stand in front of everyone), but weddings are so expensive to have it away. I figured that if we had it here, even with the reception, it would be at the most $3000.00. I'm trying to find somewhere to have the wedding that will only cost $2,500 - $3,000 to go away for a week. This would be just for us and a few friends (maybe 10 - 20). Do you know of anywhere to have a wedding away at that budget? Have you had one there or know of anyone who did? If so, how was it? We plan on only inviting those who want to come, we won't take it personally if they don't go. I only expect them to go if they want to. That is not rude. I'm from pennsylvania

Where should I get my hair done for my wedding in Vegas? I'm getting married at the Excalibur in Vegas and I want to get my hair done at a really great place, but I'm not there to shop around! Does anyone know of a really good hair salon near the Excalibur? How about a good place for nails/pedicures?
Where to go dancing in Vegas after our wedding? We are having our wedding at the Excalibur in early November, 2007, and a small reception at a house we are renting nearby afterwards. Nothing fancy, just some appetizers, cake and champagne. No DJ, dancefloor or the like, but we'd like to go somewhere afterwards to have our first dance together. Some of our guests will probably tag along as well. Can anyone recommend a good place? A lounge of some sort, with seating for a group. Either live music or DJ. Maybe somewhere that wont be overcrowded. Probably somewhere around 7 or 8pm on a Saturday. Thanks!
Where can I have a classy wedding in Las Vegas? I am looking for locations, prices, general info on weddings in Las Vegas without the cheesy themes. I am planning a small yet elegant wedding and want to know if there are classy places available.
Looking For Las Vegas Wedding Decoration Rentals? I attended a wedding reception awhile back at a church. The decorations were beautiful. They were rod iron with hearts with white fabric and lighting behind them. They had special lighting that hung from the basketball hoops and everything. She said she used a company out of Las Vegas that usually does LDS wedding receptions... but she couldn't remember the name of the company. Please help I need the name of the company ASAP!
Has anyone had a decent wedding in Vegas? Has anyone had a nice wedding in Las Vegas? Hi, we just got engaged! We want to get married this August, and are leaning towards a destination wedding. We are out of the country for the next few months and want a wedding that will be easily accessible for visitors who are spread out around the U.S. We won't have a lot of time to do planning, so something all inclusive would be perfect for our situation. I read information on Mandalay Bay and The Bellagio in Las Vegas. Any personal advice on Las Vegas destination weddings?
Does this sound bad for the night before the wedding in Vegas? We are getting married in Vegas. Should we have a small get together in our hotel room for all of the wedding party? My fiances family cannot afford to pay for a dinner, but I thought we could get some wine and snacks and have a toast for the next day-what do you think?
