How to protect my hair from the Las Vegas sun?

I'm moving to Las Vegas and I have dark brown hair but the sun and heat there always turns my hair light brown. Is there a sunscreen that you can use for your hair?

2. i'm sure they have shampoo or conditioner with spf in it. although your hair can't actually get DAMAGED by the sun (like cancer or whatever, obvi) it does get lighter, and if it's too dry outside, your ends could get split quicker. i'd get a trim more often if i were you, just to keep your hair healthy. and look online or ask around for a product with spf in it. i'm sure they have something like that. you know you love me. xoxo, gossip girl ;)
3. There is no sun screen for hair so use a hat!
4. click on computer and find out who sells Pureology, go to the nearest store, and buy some colormax, it has rose petal essence, and 30 spf in it,,, there is no substitute for wearing a hat though, soooo park in a garage, lol, and find a good hairstylist that uses redken shades, that specific colorline is very safe and healthy, non drying, and they will be able to Maintain your exact tone without ANY regrowth line,,, gl tater
5. You can use gel to help protect it and you can also use a small amount of conditioner and you can also use a color deposit shampoo and conditioner to help prevent it from fading. This shampoo and conditioner works great with helping colored hair retain its dark color and prevent fade out.
