Which room type is more popular in Vegas or hotels in general?

What's more popular/in demand? Rooms with one king or two double beds in hotels. The hotels say they pick your room when you check in and I'm trying to figure out which one we'll get stuck with.

1. In Vegas everyone wants the room with 2 beds because usually people are trying to get 4 or 5 people in a room to split the cost. It's probably easier to get a single king but I've never really had a problem in Vegas.
