When did air conditioning come to Las Vegas hotels?

I was there when it was 117 degrees. What did they do in the 50's?

1. I am not positive when air conditioning first came to Vegas but commercial air conditioning was first used in the 20's and 30's in movie theaters and other commercial businesses so I would assume that it was in the casino's and hotels in Vegas in the 50's.
