Las Vegas Wedding: What are some classy places to hold a wedding?
My fiancé and I are looking to marry in Las Vegas next summer. Do any of you have any suggestions for a hotel/casino that is classy, but not overly stuffy? I want something that is going to be elegant, but I don't want a museum quality to my wedding! It's just going to be my fiance, my cousin, his best friend, and I and they're all pretty outgoing people. I want it to still have class and charm, but I don't want it to feel too rigid! Any ideas? I don't want to spend a fortune either ;)

- The Bellaggio indoor gardens... I was out there with my good friend Megan and we saw a wedding in there... It was BEAUTIFUL!!!
- The Bellagio will be expensive. You have SO MANY options in Las Vegas. If you want something classy, but still not too expensive, I would go with one of kind of middle rate casinos like River Palms, Harrah's or Rio. Of course, the nicer ones will be Venetian, MGM Grand, Caesar's Palace, but I promise they will be very expensive. They also have plenty of nice wedding places especially geared for this sort of thing. It doesn't HAVE to be the little Chapel Britney Spears and Jason Alexander got married in! haha.
- the bellagio is very classy and beautiful. my best friend got married there last year and the pictures are so beautiful. definitely check it out. plus with wedding she got the flowers, photographs, decorations for the wedding all covered and they got this special gift basket for them. I was the maid of honor and it was a beautiful wedding!
- Just my $0.02, if you plan to marry in a Casino/Hotel (I suggest Monte Carlo, Luxor or Flamingo) ask about their mid-week rates. Hotels usually offer a discount for mid-week weddings.
- I have personally looked into the Flamingo Hotel they have a beautiful Island looking area. Also Ceasars was really nice also. Hope this helps
- my cousin got married at the flamingo. they have a beautiful setup outside on the back of the building. it was very, very classy.
- My husband and I just did a very classy (night) wedding in Vegas on March 16th. We stayed at the Bellagio, but we got married at the Stratosphere Hotel. We opted to go for a chapel wedding, opposed to getting married outside. One side of the chapel is made up of glass and the view of the entire city is fabulous...as a side note, it is well worth it to go for the bigger chapel. The smaller one is not so great. Not only did the staff treat us like first class all the way, the wedding was gorgeous!! We had our reception at the Top of the World retaurant and it was PERFECT! I highly recommend you check into their wedding packages.
- Save your money for a down payment on a house instead. Keep your wedding costs down as much as possible: you'll be no less married if you do.
- Good question! I just got married in Vegas and am a local here as well. We went with a country club setting-there are beautiful ones out here, but quite pricey. Many of the casinos will be quite spendy and will expect a minimum number of guests. An amazing wedding setting is at the Venetain hotel/casino, a friend of mine was just married in a white gondola. This package runs about $800 for the ceremony, flowers, officiant and pictures. You may want to go the chapel route instead. One of my favorites that I always see weddings at is the Little Church of the West. Their cheapest package is $199!! It is also located right down from the Famous Vegas sign-so pictures opportunities are a plenty! If you need any more suggestions, feel free to contact me. I can tell you which areas to avoid!!!
- I actually got married in one of two outdoor gardens at Caesars Palace. It was so beautiful and was everything my husband and I could have hoped for. There are multiple wedding packages to choose from to keep the expenses in a budget that works for you. We looked around at all Las Vegas venues and Caesars gardens won us over... good luck!
- We got married at the Venetian Hotel, it was around 2500 for the ceremony and EVERYTHING. my flowers and pictures were included. We were married on the bridge (the have other options, we just loved the bridge) and it was beautiful!! I wouldn't have gone with any other hotel. The staff was wonderful and they really made us feel special!!
- I am also a Vegas resident and got married here. There are many nice places, including country clubs and outdoor venues, as was previously mentioned. Many of the local casinos, such as Stations and Boyds casinos, have very nice wedding ceremony rooms and reception halls. The advantage of them is that they are much less expensive than the strip area and they will package everything in one price. The disadvantage is your guests probably want to stay on the strip and not have to go out of their way. I have been to nice weddings at Ceasar's and Venetian and I am sure Bellagio or Wynn are very nice. I am also sure they will all be a small fortune (depending on the guests, reception, etc.). We had the wedding at the Rio in a very nice room. They packaged the ceremony, pictures, flowers, and video. The we had the reception at the Gold Coast next door. They have nice reception rooms and have packages that are very reasonable. We did not have to take care of very much ourselves and everyone thought it was very classy and had no problem getting around. By the way, the Rio has a party like atmosphere and is not stuffy, but the ceremonies are held in a separate area that is very nice.
- try the Bellagio Terrace overlooking the lake - the fountains play for you at the end of the ceremony. That said, most of the hotels have very pretty chapels - you can search all wedding packages by cost (and restrict it to hotel chapels) using the link below. Good luck!
- If you want a casino wedding, I would suggest lake las vegas. I went to a wedding out there last year and it was beautiful. If you want to stay away from the casino to cut costs, I would suggest Sunset Gardens. I am getting married there in September. I love it. Very beautiful...
