Stores in Vegas

I am trying to organise my Las Vegas wedding. Anyone know the cheaper times of year to fly there from the UK?

I want all of my family to be able to come and I don't want them to have to spend too much on flights. I would like to try and have it during one of the holidays so that my cousins won't have to miss any school. Maybe the Easter or end of May break. Will they be expensive times to travel? Thanks. Thanks, you've all been really helpful.

  1. Air fare is steady to Vegas year round. They dont really have a true off-season, or peak season. You MIGHT get the best deals either in the middle of winter, or middle of summer. But dont expect tomuch fluctutation. Prices tend to be higher around major holidays, or sporting events. Like the Superbowl for example is a hard time to get good airfare to Vegas. Overall, April and May are probably the busiest months. But as long as you book in advance you will still be able to get good deals.
  2. Christmas-New Year's is always booked a couple of years in advance:) ... Spring break in the US is right around Easter, so end of May might be good. You could also check airfares to Los Angeles (which might be cheaper), and then a flight to Las Vegas (less than 1 hr). Sometimes Southwest Airlines has cheap (less than $50) airfare between LA and Las Vegas. Since LA is such a huge airport, you might find cheaper international fares there, and then get a Southwest commuter flight to Vegas .....
  3. My bro did it in January and had specials on the hotel, the chapel, everything. Just be sure to book it around the Consumer Electronics Show. The place is a high priced zoo while that is in town.
  4. Well going in the off seasons is really key to visiting Vegas if you want to avoid crowds and expensive rooms. What you should do is start just palying with dates, but summer is normally a cheap time in Vegas, so is Christmas time. After Christmas is REALLY expensive as the town winds up for New Years, but thanks giving to Christmas is really cheap.
  5. Unfortunately if you want to fly anywhere in the School holidays you are going to pay a premium flights to Vegas are generally cheaper in December and January and hotels cheaper then and in August (as its so hot) but flights form the UK still cost lots in August particularly if you want to fly direct, though the end of August is slightly cheaper than the beginning. We got married in September last year and we flew business for about £1k and people flew direct with Virgin for about £500 - £550 and others flew indirect with US Air for around £400 or direct from Manchester with BMI for about the same. Prices have gone up but I am guessing that the periods are the same. I have found that the cheapest way to get economy flights is with http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2448804-10414927 and when selecting the flights choose the flexible date option, book your flights as early as possible as generally the prices only go one way. I don’t fly the cheapest way and I don’t fly direct as I don’t like the service, the space or the amount of stag parties that you get on Virgin flights and I fly with indirect with United via either SFO or LAX, I signed up for the economy plus program which costs $350 per year and gives me and travelling partner an upgarde at time of booking giving us 5" more legroom but everything else is the same as economy. You are too early to get the best hotel deals but if you want help with them let me know, hotel prices are lowest in August, Parts of September December January and February. There is lots of information here www.vegas-weddings.co.uk and also on http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com if you need any help it will be my pleasure to share any of my experiences with you and of course bore you with my wedding photos you can contact me via email in my profile on this site. Congratulations and all the best Simon
  6. Flights from the UK to US is usually cheaper around fall and winter. Begining October till April. Any other month will be expensive. You might get a cheaper deal booking flight and hotels separately. For flight, check Virgin Atlantic. You should also do a search on Kayak engine. This enables you to search all websites and airlines with one single click. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.html As far as hotels are concerned, book directly from the hotels using their discount promo codes. Here are a few codes. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/special.html
